Language Access Plan
Language barriers may prevent individuals with limited English proficiency from obtaining services, accessing information, or participating in public planning processes. As part of SJTPO’s commitment to ensuring meaningful access for individuals with limited English proficiency, SJTPO has prepared a Language Access Plan.
The Language Access Plan reflects SJTPO’s current practices and services as of the date of the document. SJTPO will continue to monitor its practices and services and will revise the plan in accordance with the law.
SJTPO currently makes language assistance services available at no cost. Language Disclaimer.
The Language Access Plan is currently available in English and the top seven languages spoken in the State of New Jersey.
Translation of vital documents is an ongoing process. As such, the Translation Inventory lists the vital documents currently publicly available and in which languages relevant to the State of New Jersey.
