Public Meetings for 2050 Regional Transportation Plan

The SJTPO is beginning the process to update the federally-required Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP identifies the long-range vision for the regional transportation system, outlines the goals, strategies, and projects over a 30-year period, and details anticipated funding. The RTP will guide how over $5 billion in federal transportation funds will be spent in the region over the next 30 years.

Four public meetings will be held (view RTP webpage for meeting times and locations). If you are unable to attend, please provide input on SJTPO’s existing RTP goals and strategies, as well as ideas for new ones. To do so, please visit the Public Comment webpage. Your input will guide the direction of the RTP, scheduled for release in July 2020.
