Salem County Freeholder Director Charles R. Sullivan joined the SJTPO Policy Board at its January 26, 2004 reorganization meeting and was elected SJTPO Secretary/Treasurer.  He is serving his eighth year as Freeholder.

Prior to election as Freeholder, Sullivan served fifteen years on Salem City Council, nine year of which he served as President.  Hew was the former President of the Southern NJ Freeholders Organization and is a member of St. Mary's Church, Knights of Columbus, DuPont Veterans Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Salem Main Street Economic Restructuring Committee. 

A Dupont retiree and US Army Korean veteran whose hobbies include cooking, golfing, and shuffleboard,  Sullivan lives in the City of Salem with his wife Elizabeth, and has three children.
