David A. Kuhn, Executive Director of Capital Investment Strategies for the New Jersey Department of Transportation, joined the SJTPO Policy Board October, 2007. 

In his role, Mr. Kuhn is responsible for developing an integrated Statewide Transportation Capital Investment Strategy that considers investments of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, New Jersey Transit, the new Jersey Turnpike Authority and the South Jersey Transportation Authority.  Mr. Kuhn's office is also responsible for developing a ten year capital transportation plan that builds from the Capital Investment Strategy.

Mr. Kuhn has been with the Department for twenty years, working in the areas of Capital Project Development, Capital Project Management, and Local Aid prior to this current position as Executive Director, Capital Investment Strategies.  He is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Delaware, and is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Project Management Professional.
