Vineland Mayor Perry D. Barse, joined the SJTPO Policy Board at its July 24, 2000 meeting. The Mayor of Vineland sits as an Ex Officio member along with the Mayor of Atlantic City.
Barse is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner in the accounting firm of Barse & Fabrico, C.P.A., P.A. of Vineland. He is a member of the New Jersey Society of CPA's and the American Institute of CPA's, as well as a Charter Member of the Vineland-Millville Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) Board, the Empowerment Zone Board of Cumberland County, and the Vineland UEZ 2nd Generation Loan Committee.
Barse was first elected to Vineland City Council in 1996. Prior to that he served nine years as a commissioner of the Landis Sewerage Authority, including four years as the Authority's Chairman. He was a member of the Vineland Jaycees from 1987 through 1997, and following his term as President of that organization, was awarded the Outstanding Chapter President award by the New Jersey Jaycees.
Mayor Barse and his wife Kathleen (Reuben) reside in Vineland with daughter Kristin, and son Perry, Jr.
